"I would like to
encourage all of our supporters to write, call, or email 7 Mile Fair and let
them know how you feel about their allowing backyard breeders and puppy millers
to sell puppies at their flea market.
Please share the background of
puppy mills and back yard breeders and ask them why they would want to support
such an awful industry.
Please also note that there
seems to be NO screening of buyers to be sure that these puppies are going to
good homes. As one of our supporters observed, some of the customers were
"impulsive buyers, who in my mind, were buying [puppies] as if they were
disposable toys."

"The Milwaukee Pet
Store Protest Group has scheduled protests at 7 Mile Fair for 12 September 09,
20 September 09, and 10 October 09. These events are pending their response to
pleas to stop allowing/encouraging these sales. The Group will follow up on a
regular basis to see what progress is being made with their management. If
there is no response to the letter-writing campaign, the Group will follow up
with the local law enforcement of Caledonia to see how to target this location
andt where to hold the protest, since the fair grounds are private
property."

Wisconsin Puppy Mill Project supports the Milwaukee Pet Store Protest Group in
protesting 7 Mile Fair's policy of allowing the sale of puppies at their venue.
