"Aside from the cold weather, which was warmed a bit by donated hot chocolate from Chili Johns Restaurant, I feel our presence made an impact. We may not have stopped puppy sales from going out the back door but we did talk to some nice folks who want to help with future protests, and we were able to hand out some educational material. Sheltie Rescue from Iola area (two dogs in the picture), Golden Retriever Rescue from De Pere, and Claws group from Green Bay joined us as we protested from 10:30 – 3:30.". -- Vicky, Protest Organizer
