Carol was just under a year and a half old when purchased at the 10 March 07 dog auction in Thorp, and you could tell by looking at her that her life hadn't been easy. Aside from being wary of people, her coat was severely matted. She was also pregnant, a fact that her sellers fortunately seem to have overlooked. Her pups were lucky enough to have been born in a shelter instead of a mill, and will be adopted out to carefully screened, loving families. Oh, they and Carol will also be spayed or neutered! |
